The YDP Half Term Camps are designed to give children of all abilities the opportunity to participate in numerous sports, be active and most importantly enjoy their time out of school. All the YDP activities are planned with fun in mind. Children can experience games, tournaments, individual competitions and lunchtime fun.

TARGETED WEEK OF ACTIVITIES
This is an existing week of activities designed for students that have been identified by their school. These activities include the following:
Visit to Peterborough FM – students have the opportunity to enter the recording studios, experiment with the equipment and even speak live on air.
Trip to the Peterborough United FC training ground and stadium – Students will get to meet the manager and playing staff, not only watch the team train, but get involved in a training session too. They also have a tour of both the training and stadium facilities.
Visit and training session at a local Boxing Gym – Explore the Boxing world, train in the gym and meet local professionals.
Game of Bowling – a visit to the local bowling alley as a reward at the end of the week.
Bronze Award Qualification in Boxercise – Students put through this award in one full day.
Various Sport Activities – The YDP team will deliver several fun, sport sessions with a competitive element.
This ‘targeted week of activities’ has previously been delivered in several schools YDP work in and it has been hugely successful. The Student feedback has always been extremely positive, with many students asking if the week could continue!
